There's something happening here

What's happening in the US just reinforces the Traditional Governance Model and the idea that America is a DINO (democracy in name only).

If you are a member of the Powerless Many, civic engagement is important. Voting in November is essential. But also important is asking the question "What's Next?"

Whoever wins in the mid-terms, US politics will remain divided and turbulent at least until 2028, because those elected and the system will remain largely the same. The party mentality still dominates. Both parties love war. Both parties benefit from the existing system. They are the Powerful Few.

How bad does it have to get before citizens take things into their own hands to create a Citizen-led Future?

3 Reasons

Here are 3 reasons that a Citizen-led approach benefits the country as a whole:

1. It reinvents the Democratic System

It makes government of the people, by the people, for the people a reality, because it is citizen focused (powerless many) not party or political ideology focused (powerful few).

Reinventing the democratic system in this way clears many of the undemocratic elements of the 250 year old electoral system because the reinvented system is inherently inclusive.

2. It focuses on the future desired by US citizens

The current top down system is driven by preservation of the status quo. Progress is pushed by the past, i.e. the question is "How can we make improvements in the current system?". Tweaking the system has never, and will never, result in the radical improvements that a future America needs to be a model to the world.

Putting the citizens first enables the questions to become "What kind of country (and world) do we want to live in?", and "In what way do we have to reinvent political systems to achieve the the kind of country we want to live in?"

Pulled by a desired future not pushed by an obsolete past.

3. Only the US can lead the world to Peace, Opportunity and Wellbeing for all

In addition to its domestic unrest, the US has lost the trust and support of its traditional allies. Nevertheless, it is the only country in the world that can lead everybody else towards peace, opportunity and wellbeing for all.

If the citizen-led movement was coming out of China or Russia it would have no take-up at all. If it was coming out of Europe or the UK it would have some take up but nowhere has the same cultural impact that the US has. Only the US can create peace in the world.

Sit back and close your eyes. Take a few deep breaths. Let your imagination take you:

You live in a country where citizens direct the government, not vice versa. Politicians live in the real world and are aligned with the wishes of the populace rather than the wishes of the rich and powerful.

You live in a country where the American Dream is once again achievable for everyone. The divide and conquer mentality has given way to a united and rise together energy. Life is easier and less stressful, yet more abundant.

You are at peace. There is no need to protest. Americans are united and rising!
