Sometimes it's easier to understand something by reading a short quote than a long post. Here are some quotes which serve as guideposts to the Citizen-led Future.

When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace.

This is attributed to Jimi Hendrix, but many people say Jimi misquoted Sri Chinmoy or even the 19th Century English politician William Gladstone. Frankly, who cares? Its a beautiful sentiment - Jimi was referring to the world but it applies to individuals too.

It goes to the heart of what the Citizen-led Future, POW4all, GenR Rising and GenR are all about.

Those who love peace must learn to organize as effectively as those who love war.

There's no doubt who said this: Martin Luther King. Those who love war are clearly organized. In the US alone the Pentagon has 3 million personnel and a trillion dollar budget. (Because of the Iran War they are asking for 1.5 trillion in 2027!). Whether it is effective organization is an open question - it is the epitome of top-down Strongman leadership doing questionable things.

GenR Rising and the whole Citizen-led Future movement is organized as the opposite - bottom-up with clear objectives. As such, there is now an organized alternative to war lovers; one that cannot be dismissed as a rag-tag bunch of disorganized peaceniks.

You never change things by fighting the existing reality; to change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.

R. Buckminster Fuller, the inventor of the Geodesic Dome and many other things, said that. That's the essence of reinvention. Don't just make the existing system better, reinvent it. Change the game. Make the old game obsolete.

For example, Representative Democracy bought and paid for by the Powerful Few is replaced by Citizen-led Democracy where the previously Powerless Many choose the direction of the country. An archaic, inefficient, fraud prone system replaced by a modern, secure, effective one. Until you see the new model you don't how bad the old one is.

Which brings us us the fourth quote. This one from Arthur C. Clarke, the American scientist and author...

The only way of discovering the limits of the possible, is to venture a little way past them to the impossible.

That's what GenR Rising, Citizen-led Democracy, Peace Leadership and POW4all are all about. Doing the impossible: regular people, owning their power, reinventing the rules and leading the world to peace, opportunity and wellbeing for all. The Citizen-led Future.
